Located in the rolling hills of the Southern Tier, Nekoda Stables was developed to create a superior line of animals that represent the best of two breeds : the Arabian and the Paint. With the fiery sophistication of the Arabian and the beautiful color and temperament of a Paint these horses exhibit the best of both worlds and can be used in any discipline anywhere. Nekoda Stables is working on developing their own strain of Pintabian incorporating the breeding stock they now have.
Owned by Emily and Josh Stauring, Nekoda Stables was named after the Biblical word "Nekoda"; which means 'marked or distinguished by God'. We believe that God gave us these gorgeous creatures and hope that by breeding, selling and showing them we can spread the beauty of the horse and the love of Jesus Christ.
Emily is a Equine photographer by trade as well so if you like the pictures you see on this site check out her photography website. Emily J Photography
